The condo was very clean, check-in was seamless, and the rooftop view was definitely a highlight.That said, I think many of the issues we encountered are likely due to the host being relatively new to VRBO and just needs some additional attention to detail.There was an extraordinary number of stairs, which was not made clear in the listing. Carrying luggage and groceries up and down multiple flights was challenging, and I would not recommend this property for anyone with mobility limitations or certain medical conditions.The unit was also missing many basic items that are typically expected in a vacation rental. There was no dish soap, no dishwasher detergent, no cleaning supplies, no kitchen cloths or towels for wiping counters, no salt, pepper, or other basic cooking staples, and no plastic wrap or storage bags. The paper towel roll provided was very small, which was especially noticeable given the lack of other cleaning supplies.The bathroom amenities also seemed subpar. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers appeared to contain the same watered-down product, the shampoo and body wash barely lathered and was extremely thin. Light bulbs were missing, there were no dressers and not enough hangers for a four-day stay, and there was no TV in the first-floor bedroom. Most concerning was a leaking pipe in the bathroom and no response from the owner when notified.Overall, the property has a lot of potential if some of these issues are addressed.
