"when looking for the accomodation, it was difficult to understand if we were booking a room or an an appartment. we wanted 2 rooms for two people and we ended with booking 2 appartments!! that we were not able to cancel :-( secondly, the way to register is quite complex and even if you give your phone number on hotels.com, the host didn't receive it.
