"A comfortable hotel, but Hotels.com needs to make it clearer that this is one of those European hotels without staff, where one needs codes to enter the building and room. Unfortunately, the hotel never sent me the codes, and I stood outside the door for a good ten minutes before a kind passerby helped me by calling the hotel for me to ge the codes (my US phone doesn't work in Europe). Aside from that pretty major mistake, the room was fine."

"The apartment has been renovated in an upscale fashion. Also, the spacious balcony overlooking the river is amazing. And the hosts were easy to contact and helpful. On the downside, we wish the hosts would be more transparent with details, which would have made our stay more enjoyable:-there is no elevator, so 54 winding steps are required to access the apartment. -the listing mentions laundry services and a dryer, but they are not in the apartment. "Vrai petit coin de paradis sur l'eau, parfait pour un moment de déconnexion et de détente. La péniche est très bien équipée, propre et conforme aux photos présentées. Nous étions avec deux enfants de 5 ans qui se sont amusés dans un espace qui leur était dédié.L'attention est aux petits détails. Merci beaucoup pour cette belle expérience !"
