「The best memory in Kampala」

「The staff was friendly and willing to help with any question or need.」

「I book online and when I reach the girl didn't know what to do. because I was tired I promised to pay cash. After paying she lost the money somewhere and she start accusing me that I have taken the money. I ask her to give the number of the manager she refused. After I got the number myself from internet and I called. to request to be refunded my money. the boss apologies and she went and she got the money and pays me. It took us 1 hour at the reception 」

「This hotel was a residence at one time so the layout is a little strange. On the second floor, there is a large living room area connected to two tandem bedrooms, the master reached via a small bedroom; this would be ideal for a family. 「I booked this property 8 months ago. I chose it because it was one of the only ones that had a swimming pool in the area that I was going to look at. First thing about getting to this hotel is that you have to go down a very long bumpy dirty unsafe road. Everything is covered in this brown dust which is a combination of feces and soil. 「I’ve stayed there for 6 nights and it was so peaceful. The area is very quiet and secure. The room was cleaned daily and fresh linens and towels daily. Esther was lovely, always there looking after us and making sure that we were ok. Her breakfast every morning was delicious with fresh fruits and juice I would go back in a heartbeat 」

「Very bad acces road especially after rain. Away from main road and any big shop. Breakfast was always late and room next to kitchen is a nightmare. No night time so no good sleep for you (noises). Owners are friendly but they need to be more serious about guests. No hot water in shower. Heater broken? No bin bags. Doors and windows are not soundproof like stated on www. Good view on the city may compensate above issues. I would come back but this time only on top floor.」

「Alles is minimaal, zelfs geen decoratie aan de muren. Badkamer is continu nat vw lekkage. Restaurant aanwezig wil zeggen dat er een plaats is waar je kunt zitten en het eten wordt uit de stad gehaald. Personeel spreekt nauwelijks engels. Afspraken, oppikken van vliegveld waren ze vergeten en ik moest 2 uur wachten totdat eenvoudige diner opgediend werd.」
