This was a delightful surprise - basically a 5 start boutique hotel. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Staff service is excellent. The breakfast is a plated groumet experience (not the usual buffet). Highly recommended if you want a quiet and comfortable stay in a newer, upscale alternative to a luxury hotel.
The location is somewhat remote from downtown Tainan though it is steps away from a public bus stop (which we did not use). Many of the restaurants in the area appear to close earlier. However, it is well within walking distance of the waterfront and river cruises. And if you stay more than 4 nights, the breakfast options start repeating.
These were not an issue with us and we definitely stay here again!

Very spacious room. Japanese toilet which is plus point and thankfully a common thing in Taiwan. Malin and Goetz products including conditioner which was nice.
Staff were very friendly and keen to help. They have a great selection of food and drink available during the afternoon for guests. Very close to the main train station - walkable, and not a problem if travelling with big suitcase.
