This is not a three star hotel. The good: location The bad: we arrived at 11pm from the train station. The front desk is not 24 hrs. We had to put in three separate codes in three separate locations/doors to get the key to our room. When we arrived at the room, there is no hot water. The next morning, again no hot water. Restored later in the day, but then the next morning, no hot water again. They blamed it on the boiler but didn’t even apologize. We asked them to arrange a taxi to the airport but they never did. There was significant mold in the shower, and when I was showering in freezing water, this made me grumpier. The hotel itself including reception is on the fourth floor. The elevator is small but it works. The bedding was thin and the pillow very flat. Bed was soft. Room was smaller than what the pictures suggest.

This hotel has limited staffing. The front desk is only open 9-6. They provide instructions for late arriving guests. It's useless. I spent an exhausted hour after 20 hours of travel trying to get into my room. Their written methods didn't work. But it didn't matter, because you have to walk over to the Hotel Diocleziano to get your room key anyhow. A completely ridiculous situation, and I told them so. Room was nice enough, although a layer of dust covered the plastic over the climate controls. But I found the unprofessionalism about my late checkin, well, unforgivable. Will not return. (There wasn't anybody at the desk when I left at 9AM, either, despite their stated hours.)
