NIST Headquarters

Rooms are nicely appointed and the bed is comfy. Love the shower. Location is exceptional. But everything is DIY. You check yourself in and out, make your own keys, figure out everything yourself in your room (lighting, tv projector, screens), etc. I had to go look for someone to charge a pepsi to my room... I enjoy being left alone as much or more than anyone, but this was a bit too hands off for me. Also begs the question of where the $100 in facilities fees I paid goes, as I did not see any perks or facilities (pool, gym, bar, restaurant). Overall a very good place to stay, just fyi.

Our room was downgraded at last minute due to maintenance issues and our room that we received was hot and couldn’t get the air to kick in. Hotel property is beautiful and amazing location but the change was disapointing and room being hot was unpleasant
