Excellent view, well priced

A brilliant relaxed stay, we enjoyed the hot tub, location and the daily housekeeping kept the room impeccable.

This is a beautiful property but as with most places in Santorini, it comes with lots of stairs to get to your room and most of the stairs are uneven and some quite steep. Not all sections have handrails. Luckily this property is right by the road, so taxis can drop you right outside the reception. I saw others dragging and carrying their suitcases up the steep, uneven stairs around Santorini to get to their hotels… We stayed in the Grand Mare Suite which was really nice with a heated plunge pool overlooking the caldera - heavenly! The table on the terrace was a bit squashed as there were two sun loungers placed immediately in front which totally ate up the space and made it feel cramped. I get that they are trying to provide 4 spaces for the 4 guests accommodated by the room, but there was just too much furniture for the size of the space. Minor point but sometimes less is more and would have elevated the feel of the space. Maybe just a couple of smaller comfy chairs would have been better? Breakfast was served on your own terrace so was nice and private and very relaxing. Staff were very friendly. All in all, a gem of a place.
