"In had a small cleaning issue with my room but the management were very apologetic and attended to it immediately, The Hotel Das Salinas is a 3 star hotel but attached to the 4 star Hotel Albi so the cleaning and the breakfast and the service is all 4 star. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. The location is great, they helped me book a river trip and a tut tut tour at a very good price. I would stay there again - Really recommend Aviero for at least 3 days, quieter than Porto and and Lisbon and lots of good restaurants - very safe and convenient for a day trip to Coimbra"

"This is a 4star hotel situated in the centre of town.Great location close to the canals, mall, restaurants and traditional shops. While the hotel has many good things including an excellent breakfast, lounge, bar, and secure parking across the street, it lacked in fundamental features that such hotel usually offers. There was no safety box in the room, there were no bath robes and slippers, there was no coffee machine in the room, and there were not enough power sockets to charge more than one device. The fridge was set too warm and could not be adjusted, the air conditioning unit was set too low and could not be turned off ( ended up sleeping with a hoodie on, and still caught a cold), and the most annoying thing was that the room window faced an interior space with four walls ( about 3 meters from the window ) and I could not see the sky or anything else except some ventilation pipes and blind windows. Quite unsettling. I think there are about 4 rooms on each floor that have this situation. I really was expecting a nice city view from this postcard worthy hotel. In my opinion those room like the one we had should not be sold to guests as they spoil the entire mood of the visitors. I was quite disappointed by the room and lack of standard features that every 3 star hotel offers nowadays."

"So first impression on the room wasn’t to favorable. Had medication that needed to be refrigerated, could Not get the fridge open. Tried to call front desk, phone didn’t work. So we went back downstairs (after a very long delayed flight, we weren’t really in the mood ). So the front desk said nothing they could do but if it made us a feel better they had complaint’s before. Then the bartender Lily, came up and said let’s get this resolved. She went upstairs with us and pulled the fridge right out of its cabinet, which actually helped and it worked. We just had to live around it being in the middle of the floor. There was zero space for clothes, no dresser, undersized side tables. The shower had mold In the grout and edges. But the beds were clean and comfortable and we made do. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, same things everyday. The restaurant on the other hand was not good at all. Ordered two burgers that came raw. No one came back to check so we tried to eat them. Didn’t work. When person did come we were told that’s the way they are served. So we still were charged for $30 for something inedible. The pool was great, the fact you couldn’t use towels for the beach was a bummer. But the area is perfect and just a few hiccups. Like I said we managed. I would return but with a scrub brush for the tub walls."

"Gemütliches, gutgelegenes Hotel direkt am See. Innenpool super bei schlechtem Wetter. Die Metalltreppen in den Pools sind sehr rutschig ebenso die geflieste Treppe im Innenpool! Restaurant sehr gut. Sehr gutes Preis Leistungs Niveau. Gerne wieder!"

"The villa was very clean it had everything we needed plenty of plates cutlery and pans. The whole place was lovely and clean even had a welcome package of bread buns cheese and a Portuguese dessert. The host had sent an email to welcome us and we had several emails while we was there, if there was anything we needed then just to contact them. Off road parking a plenty enough for two cars. The property had air conditioning which was very welcome. They have a swimming pool and plenty of seats and sun loungers a washing machine was a must after been on the beach, we had a clothes airerwhich was great. All in all perfect villa next to the lagoon and not far from the beach. The only thing that was missing was a bbq but not a big issue. It was perfectly placed for a perfect holiday."
