I have stayed here several times and i keep going back. It's a nice quiet place and it doesn't cost outrageously.

Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them.

Dogwood Inn is truly a magical place. From the moment we arrived, Jim and Cindy made us feel genuinely welcome. Cindy’s breakfasts were absolutely outstanding—homemade, delicious, and one of the highlights of our stay. Jim was equally exceptional: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. You can tell they both genuinely enjoy taking care of their guests. The property is private, absolutely breathtaking, and feels like a dream—a true luxury retreat...

The Owl's Perch and surroundings is beautiful and serene. I would 100% recommend. The accommodation in very well laid out with many things thought of for your convenience. Enjoyed every moment, wish we could have stayed longer.

What a lovely place!!!! The property is immaculately maintained. It’s quiet, serene and very cozy. You can also venture into some fun and weird local spots.

We stayed in the Mallard Cabin right by the lake. Only having 1 bathroom was a bit tight for my family of 5, but luckily the office was right next door and had bathrooms if needed. The view from the porch was beautiful and we loved using the complimentary kayaks. There was a musty smell in the cabin, but it is an older building, so nothing we couldn't handle. My kids loved staying on the lake, making smores in the fire pit and playing board games on the porch. Having a full kitchen was great...

From the moment my fiance and I arrived at the Tapoco Lodge on Monday, August 24th, until we left on Saturday, August 29th, the entire experience was incredible! First of all, the entire staff is absolutely AWESOME! They took customer service to a level neither one of us had ever seen before. We had planned to leave on Friday, August 28th, but we were having so much fun we decided to stay an extra night. We stayed the first 3 nights in the Sunflower Room. Convenient to hwy 129. Gravel driveway but motorcycle accessible. Mostly flat. Covered parking. Very comfortable bed.

Stay was very comfortable, clean, and pleasant. Plan to stay again when we return.

The view is exceptional! No other buildings or roads as far as the horizon!

We had a great weekend. Everything we wanted to do was pretty close. The further we had to travel was just under a hour.

Easily the best weekend retreat we have ever had. With a friendly, courteous staff, top notch amenities, and breathtaking views from every direction, it’s hard to go wrong at Brasstown Valley Resort.

Beautiful lodge with a great history. Delicious breakfast was a nice surprise.
