"Like that it was located fairly close to Siena in the countryside. Like that was quiet. Didn't like that safety and maintenance was an issue. The rail on the walkway from the parking lot was loose and needed repair. Didn't like the creaky doors that needed oil. All the cabinet knobs were like keys that frequently fell out. Clothes hanger wired to bar and difficult to use."

"ColleLungo ia a phenomenal place for a multi-night stay in Chianti. Its central location is a great gateway to several interesting cities and villages in the area. The setting is storybook and so clean and refreshing. There are no immediate neighbors so it is totally tranquil, and the peaceful feeling you get from being in the vineyards is so restful. " Very friendly, professional and welcoming. Beautifully quaint building with ‘stunning’ views. Breakfast basic but perfectly adequate with selection of meats, cheese, small cakes, yogurt etc, with freshly made coffee. Would not hesitate to recommend. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property in the Tuscan Hills. The staff were very accommodating and we enjoyed dinners at the hotel each night with a different menu every evening. The complimentary breakfast had a wonderful selection to choose from as well. There are lots of dirt/gravel roads in the area, including to the hotel but we didn’t mind that drive."

"Valdonica Winery is stunning! The views from our bedroom balcony were astounding, facing all the way down the vineyards, to the sea in the distance. The restaurant is run by Chef Marco, who has curated a wonderful 4 course tasting meal. Each of the dishes can be accompanied by one of Valdonica’s own wines. Manuela at reception was extremely helpful throughout our stay. She recommended a fantastic restaurant in the nearby town, called Da Nada, and made sure we had wine to celebrate, following...
