Cocoon Sedlinger Tor was amazing. The location was perfect for Oktoberfest and the surrounding area in Munich. The staff was absolutely amazing as well and made my stay even better. Thank you to everyone at Cocoon!

Overall our stay here was a good experience. The hotel is attractive and the staff are nice. Breakfast is kind of expensive, but it is a good variety. Major downside is they don’t clean your room. You have to ask the front desk for fresh towels.

The hotel itself was unbelievable considering the price. It was clean and cozy. The lobby is inviting. The breakfasts are great and well worth the cost. However, construction is being done on the sixth floor and it was so loud, we had to shout to speak to one another while this was going on. We were not warned that this would be happening. When we approached the front desk about potentially changing rooms they acted like we were greatly inconveniencing them. They insisted that the construction workers are outside of the realm of their control. Be this as it may, they are still doing construction on YOUR hotel. We were told construction happened between 9 and 5 (9:00-17:00). This turned out not to be true as we were woken up as early as 7 to the sound of power tools one morning. Again this would’ve been fine if the person who we (very kindly) approached about this hadn’t had such an attitude with us. I should say, the other one was very kind and professional. If he had any disdain for us, he hid it well. Which is all I ask. I just wonder, if that’s how you handle someone kindly leveling a very reasonable complaint, how do you handle a customer who is even vaguely rude. Over all, great hotel. Just fire that lady. Also, when we checked in, we were held hostage while another employee described every aspect of the hotel for 20 minutes. It was fine she was sweet but no one wants to sit there while you tell them how “cool” everything is after traveling.

Super close location to the train station and many restaurants! The hotel was very clean, the staff was helpful, and the breakfast was lovely. The bar and food options were also great! My only normal, typical American complaint is the mattress is VERY firm. Because of all the positives we would stay here again!

Just a few blocks from the Oktoberfest. Multiple public transportation options nearby, great breakfast, delicious pizza, cool decor (the rooms’ decor could be as cool as the lobby…). Walkable to most interest points. Would definitely stay again.

Wunderbares Hotel direkt im Zentrum von München. Das Interior und Ausstattung des Zimmers ist sehr modern. Schöne große Dusche mit Rituals-Produkten. Eine kleine Kaffeemöglichkeiten im Zimmer wäre noch ein tolles Add-On. Das Frühstück ist sensationell. Für alle etwas dabei und variiert jeden Tag etwas. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Das Personal ist jung und sehr nett.
