Mühleggbahn Funicular

Very friendly stuff at the property. Free shuttle from 6 AM to 10:30 PM. I had to leave property at 4 AM and they offer shuttle to the airport for additional fee, which was very helpful. The drivers were on time. I needed the hotel just for a few hours to take a shower and sleep, and it was just perfect for me

I booked this hotel expecting basic amenities, especially a hot shower and a comfortable night’s sleep. Unfortunately, there was no hot water during my stay, making it impossible to shower. This completely defeated one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. I informed the front desk, but the issue was not resolved in a timely manner, and there was no compensation offered. A functioning hot water system is a basic expectation for any hotel, and not having it significantly impacted my stay.

We loved having access to the guest kitchen including the fridge. The back terrace was in full bloom and a lovely place to sit in the evening with snacks and a drink after a busy day of being tourists. The breakfast was amazing with home made goodies (and we know they were homemade as we were in the guest kitchen getting water one day and the very lovely staff member was taking delicious smelling treats out of the oven!), a nice selection of fruits, cheeses, breads, etc. The staff were very helpful with suggestions and directions as well. Overall it was a 10 out of 10 experience!
