I thought the property was nice and close to Takaoka station. The room was pretty big compared to the average Japanese hotel, but the room chair for the desk was a simple stool. If you are someone who likes to go shopping at a grocery store for food, the nearest one was about 15-20 minute walk away. Not much was happening around this area, it didn't seem to offer much in tourist attractions, besides a few statues. If you are using it as a base to explore Toyama through Kanazawa, it's not too bad, but the local trains can be pretty crowded during rush hours. The nearest shinkansen station is a 20 minute train ride away. If you like a quiet town without the craziness of tourists, this place is a good stay.

Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The free parking and location were both convenient. The pillow was a little too hard for my personal preference, but other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

お風呂が良かった

絶対オススメしないホテル。 様々な問題点が多過ぎて、ここで全て書けない。いくつか例を挙げると、ホテル自体の施設が古いしとても汚ない。コンセプトも古い。食事の費用が内容に見合わずもの凄く高い上に、スタッフの客への対応はまるで刑務所の囚人への扱い。 しかもホテルのスタッフとそれらの問題点を話そうとしたが、責任者らしき人物は、真意が全く伝わっておらず我関せずの姿勢。 状況把握後、予定は４泊だったが、キャンセルもせずに、ホテルに着いたその日の夜に１泊に変更し、翌日ホテルを離れた。 早めに旅行の計画を立てられずに、仕方なく予約したホテルであったが、想像を遥かに超える酷さ。 未だに砺波という地域名自体も語りたくないと奥さんと話している状態。何故なら使った地域のタクシーにもボラれたからだ。新高岡駅に着いた瞬間にメーターを自分で上げていたからだ。地域性も気に食わないところ。二度と行きたくない。

Brand new and excellent condition property, free onsite parking, superb helpful and welcoming staff, very good amenities, very fast internet, average sized room to Japanese standard, sumptuous breakfast, enough varieties for Vegans and Vegetarians. Value for money hotel. Just that the Breakfast Buffet food is only labelled in Japanese, thus need enquiry from staff about content and ingredients.
