"Me and my wife were looking for a nice weekend getaway. And found Gwen and Bear’s Cabin listed. The Cabin is right down the mountain from Petit Jean State Park. Which was exactly what we were looking for! The privacy of the cabin and the woods and small stream next to the cabin were also great! All around was an awesome experience and we will definitely be booking again!"

However, the cottage has a musty smell and the burners on the stove were warped to the point that we had trouble cooking our food. We also had some issues with the AC unit in the bedroom."

"The cabin is wonderful. Very cute and decorted to make it sooo cozy. Loved the hot tub and the rocking chairs on the porch. Did get to see a barge on the river. Only complaint is the yard needs weedeated. Cant really mow it so weedeat it and cut some low limbs and it would be perfect."

"I booked this place as a surprise anniversary get away. We loved our stay here. We enjoyed staying in watching The Lord of the Rings right next to the beautiful hobbit door! We also enjoyed venturing out to some great State Parks: Less than 10 minutes from Lake Dardanelle and about 45 min from Petit Jean. The Hobbit House also seemed like it would be a great getaway for a family or friends who love Tolkien. Kitchen is great if you want to cook your own meals and the couches and bed are comfy....

Had all the amenities we needed for a busy weekend-coffee, a few waters, supplied kitchen, great beds and towels and comfy robes for every room!
