This motel is old and furnishings reflect the age. It has not been refurbished in a very long time, perhaps ever. Towels are paper thin and very worn. Furniture looked like something that should have been put on the curb in a college town.
That said, my room was clean and I was only staying one night. Room had ancient, but clean microwave and refrigerator, but no coffee pot. The motel is located in the center of town, close to everything in a safe area. The door had no safety chain or additional locking mechanism and did not shut well, but they do have electronic keys. Heat worked well and I was comfortable for the night.
If you’re going to Morganfield, it’s the only game in town and is acceptable for a brief stay if you don’t need updated amenities.
