"I picked this location because I was only in town for 3 nights to see my youngest daughter receive her first Holy Communion. The location was close to my ex wife’s house and from the pictures and description it fit my needs at a reasonable cost. They did agree to accommodate my possible late arrival because of a flight delay which was nice. That was about it though. To start, the lock on the sliding glass doors was not easy to lock and didn’t seem very secure, the ability to open up the room to nature was a plus. Second, walking barefoot on the floors turned your feet black so they probably don’t mop. And third, my biggest complaint. It was advertised or told that the pool was not open. One of the reasons I picked this place is so I could take my kids swimming. From a distance the pool seemed fine, the pool deck appeared to be new and the water looked clean. So after a morning hike and lunch we proceeded into the pool area, gates where unlocked, and was about to get in when we finally saw a sign that said the pool had been shutdown by the health department. Only sign there was at the stairs to the pool. Not on the fence or anywhere else. Looked up the health code and it was because of bacteria in the water and nonfunctional filtration system. This highly disappointed my children and me in turn. I hope someone at hotels.com reads this because I feel like I should some if not all money back. Oh and the toilet overflowed randomly when flushing even without solids."

"Room hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived. Ac was controlled by them. Was only given a half a roll of toilet paper for 3 people 3 day 2 night stay. No smoke detector. Kitchenette was just standing fridge with microwave on top of it. No coffee maker or supplies for coffee"

"This home is very clean and comfortable. We were only able to stay a few days this visit, but I could definitely see it as a long term rental. It is nicely decorated and a/c works well. The neighborhood is very quiet at night. The host was easy to deal with! We enjoyed our quick visit."

"1 star for this place.Out of 14 years of traveling in the winter months renting 5 or more places have I had people coming in without you knowing.Host forgot to tell us!!! The handyman can tell the owners when he will be coming so they can tell the renters someone will be over to fix the door.Stuff broke from last renters never reported to them.Security system in the house they say only outside but!!! We don’t think so.Its not in the description of the house that it has a system in it cause if I had seen it never would’ve rented it. Your privacy is gone gone… Had something’s come up missing host says no one came in or out they looked so I guess OUR STUFF GOT FEET AND WALKED OFF!They can edit or delete videos on the system.They can hear you to, we was talking one evening wondering about what to do and the next hr I get a text about what we was just talking about weird!! Mother (owner) asked me to call at a time so I did twice no answer then the daughter text me and said I will call you to make things right well guess what never did call me after three days and we left she never called she blew us off we was there 20 days.They need new handyman that can fix stuff the first time and house cleaners. The bed was bad flipped bedding over not washed.you can eat for a week if you look under the couch.GROSS.Ants on countertops. I think pretty sure we finally got rid of them. Water was very bad smell even left clothes smelly. I could go on and on but not enough room. It says 5 stars but"
