I stayed at Maverick Apartments Budapest recently and had a decent overall experience. The room itself was okay — not amazing, but not bad either. The building is clearly quite old and historic, which gives it character, but it also explains why the rooms probably aren’t heavily renovated. Because of that, some things felt a bit worn. The washroom had a strong smell, and the toilet flush button was broken during my stay. I assume these issues come with maintaining an older property, though they were still noticeable. On the positive side, the location is excellent — you’re basically close to everything, which makes exploring the city very convenient. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which definitely improved the stay. Overall, it’s a reasonable place if you mainly want a great location and don’t mind a few imperfections in the room.

Amazing theming, great roof top bar and fab little spa. But highlight was the incredibly helpful staff- jason andrew and blanka- thank you. Hotel does lots of helpful things all complimentary- spa bag, bottled water, breakfast boxes, cheese and wine between 4-6pm Would recommend for adults
