Paid premium price, But was it worth it for that price, Not really. We had half board, food was good. The property is old, the doors hasn't got key less entry. Reception was always chaotic. Even trying to pay our bill was a major carryon with about 3 or 4 people involved. Dining staff were wonderful, dinner was not, though breakfast buffet was very good. Room was tiny and dark, bed very comfy. Bathroom felt bigger than room! "Natscha and her assistant Ajit run this wonderful small guesthouse. If you are looking for an authentic, local experience then stay here. But, it is not that easy to get to, The road to the bungalow is largely unpaved and steep but, for us, that was all part of the attraction. The surroundings are beautiful - lush green jungle, beautiful rice paddies, local temples etc. But, if you don't have your own vehicle then it is not possible to get out at night.
The cuisine is local and very good....

"Perfect place for our first location in Sri Lanka. We stayed three nights and loved it. Very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very welcoming and the quality of the Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner was amazing. We can also recommend the Katamaran tour in the lagoon. Free shuttle to the empty beach also worked great. Would always return here."
