"Place was quiet and secluded. My phone has practically 0 service and WiFi only worked for me outside. For 2 of us visiting the area for golf and stretch the Euro, it was perfect. We did run into some minor issues but didn’t get any response from Sykes management. Bathroom light stopped working during middle of our trip but we didn’t know how to get a hold of anyone and vrbo messaging didn’t work. They provide washer but there was no laundry detergent. "The house is in the most picturesque location. We spent hours in the deck listening to trees and birds, looking at the sunset, cooking BBQ. Lots of fabulous eateries within 30 mins drive. The host is responsive and the house is very well equipped. Wuld recommend to friends and family."

The Glendalough Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel exceeded my expectations. I was in a good mood the whole time. You could not ask for a better location right next to the Glendalough sites, plus reasonable rates. Although my room was small, it was cozy and had everything I needed, plus a lovely view from the sizable windows even though it raced north toward the road. My only complaint about the hotel is that the front desk is not staffed 24/7 (I think it closes at 8 or 9 PM), which might create some anxiety for those returning late. I also read really bad reviews about the hotel restaurant, so I ate dinner elsewhere. However, the included breakfast was fine. I didn't see a fan or way to open the windows in the room, so I imagine it might get a little hot during warmer weather."
