"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time on Big Manistique Lake! The beautiful log cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and highly recommend watching the sunrise on the dock. It is conveniently located for day trips to Grand Marias, Munising and Tahquamenan Falls."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage. From the moment we arrived, it felt welcoming, peaceful, and beautifully cared for. The cottage was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to settle in and relax right away. Every detail—from the cozy furnishings to the lovely surroundings—made the visit feel special. Our host was responsive and helpful. The location was ideal for a quiet escape, and we especially appreciated the sense of privacy and calm. It was the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy time away. We would happily rent this cottage again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, memorable, and relaxing getaway."

"Great location to meet the needs of our planned adventures. Had all the accommodations we needed. The time we spent there was enjoyable with the lake, ducks and fire to fill our time together. Such a wonderful place for a vacation and family time. From the comments from the family they would like to plan another trip up next year and if we can will be booking this location again."

"This cabin is a gem. A beautiful place with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts have done a good job making sure the right amenities are available and even have games, books and movies available. The cabin decor is perfect and the location is excellent. My boys loved staying in the loft. Rick was helpful when we had a question. Thank you for a lovely stay with my family!"

"This house was a central location for us to stay in and explore the area. If you stay here, I highly recommend eating at the Jolly Inn across the street! Excellent food and the staff is wonderful. The house if going to have the basics you need to serve as a home base. Only thing missing was the patio furniture :( I didn't receive/couldn't find our email with entry code but the host sent that pretty quickly so we had no problems getting in."

"This property and its owners may be new to vacation rentals, but you’d never know it! The littlest details were well thought out, from the extremely comfy beds and pillows, to the well-outfitted kitchen. Even the fire pit had some wood stocked upon our arrival, making the first night’s s’mores that much more enjoyable. The view from the deck is what dreams are made of - the beautiful untouched serenity of Lake Anne Louise. The cattails and tall grasses added to the whimsy while watching both sunrise and sunset. Our first walk down the lane brought us to an Art trail, full of delightful installations, and one that really blew our minds (it’s ENORMOUS and absolutely stunning)! If you’re looking for a well-appointed, scenic, extremely comfortable cabin that is centrally located to some of the UP’s best daytime activities, this is it! The nostalgia abounds - from the VHS and DVD players (with LOTS of movie options), to the card games, dominos, armchair recliner and pull-out sofa (also quite comfortable).We took day trips with ease to Taquamenon, Pictured Rocks, Marquette, and Kitch-iti-Kipi. And we’ll be back as soon as we can!"
