「Our stay started off poorly, as the host had us checking in a day late, when clearly the reservation was correct. Then, he would not respond to my messages or to VRBO when they called him repeatedly. We had to wait at the airport for an hour while VRBO attempted to contact him. 「The vendor had a lot of conditions prior to check in and ended up charging us more when I informed them that my two daughters would be staying with us, this was not on the website. There are two parking spots on the property for which they use a separate booking system. The spots were full of garbage and someone had defecated on a pillow in the spot. 「Our host was so wonderfully accommodating in being responsive to our needs. The apartment is located over a small bar. Nothing got rowdy but a little white noise was helpful during the night. The beds were super firm. The heating system worked well which was helpful since the single pane windows didn’t provide much insulation especially the one that was partially sealed with paper towels. We were thankful for the shopping bags under one of the legs of the pool table which helped to level it...

「Great location and very spacious. worked well for 2 families traveling together. Be aware this is an old building and you could potentially have very noisy neighbors above you, as we did, in the middle of the night. There were maintenance issues we discussed with host.」

「The property is in the heart of downtown Montreal, close to major tourist attractions, and the metro/subway is just a few blocks away. The parking spot is also quite small, so it won’t work for larger vehicles. On the plus side, the owner was super friendly and accommodating.」
