"I wasn't so happy with the property. Our first night was horrible. The room became so cold at around 3 or 4am. I was shivering but the warmer is set to 21' but they could have turn of the heating..second is that there was no sufficient towels. Normally if you enter a hotel or aparthotel you get the towels for the number of days you are staying i,e 4 days, then 4 towels for every person. Next the soap, shampoo or lotion. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. "Really nice hotel with loads of charm and character. No actual parking, but there's a multi storey car park opposite and cheaper than most. As the hotel is old there are no elevators and the steps could be quite challenging if you have issues. Having said that, if you can mange the stairs the rooms were really nice. We ate there also and the restaurant is really good. Not the cheapest, but great quality in a wonderful setting and is great for a treat."

"Upon check in, it was apparent there was a language barrier, however through the help of Google translate I was able to easily get checked in. Staff were very warm and helpful in overcoming this obstacle. The room was large and clean, giving everyone their own bit of space. The room was not equipped with a toaster, a small added touch that would have been nice. The only other thing I found odd, which is maybe normal for France/Europe, is that there was no sink in the toilet room to wash your hands so you had to walk across the apartment to where the shower/sink was to do so. We rented the bicycles available on site and toured around the area, which was a nice added amenity. We did not partake in any spa activities, although it looked like those who did enjoyed their experience. I likely won't be back in the area, but if I were I would not hesitate to book another stay here. "

"The hotel is very good for an overnight stop when travelling by car in France. It has everything you need for such a stopover. The room is and bed are comfortable. It was very quiet in the room so it was possible to have a good night sleep. The breakfast is basic but was adequate for us. There are restaurants within walking distance for an evening meal."
