"An absolutely amazing experience to stay in a Castle is beautiful surrounds. The restoration of the 11th century castle is incredible. Step stone walkway leads up to the entrance. Francesco was a wonderful host and we had a few laughs with translation oh for technology, son Matteo was very warm and knowledgeable as we explored all the rooms of the castle. It is a rather large place to stay for just two people as it does have 5 bedrooms and a rather large living area, but we were very happy with it. "Property is a 5 minute drive out of town. The nearby town, Amandola, is a great base as it has pizza restaurants, bars, gelato shops, and lovely bakeries for breakfast pasteries that open at 7am. "My family is from this amazing area and it was nice to see nothing has chaged since i was last here! As a child, I attended Mass at the basilica of S. Emidio. Still as beautiful now as it was then.....it's just less scary now ;) Staff was amazing! Stefania was SO helpful in our check in and locating the parking! The star was Azzura! She was a sweet as they come and made sure our service was perfect! Truly beautiful people here! "
