"NOTE:They really should market this as adults only. Be advised that you must be 18 or older to use the pool. They have this written in the fine print but we neglected to read.
NOTE: If you want an early check in, let them know in advance. They are sticklers about this!
The staff at the front desk could use some training. Not the friendliest. No sense of humor. Not very accommodating. Just be prepared. I am guessing they are over worked and overwhelmed. Tired.
Property is a little on the run down side and probably has seen better days. Be prepared for lots of stairs.
Bed was hard and there wasn’t a sheet between the bottom fitted sheet and the comforter. Both our queen beds were made up this way, so we think that is their standard.
Restaurant is a good long walk up a hill. It was too far away after long days of hiking, so we ended up driving and eating in Stevenson both nights which is about an 8 minute drive.
On the very positive side, the price was soooo much less expensive than the other more popular resort in Stevenson. We weren’t in the rooms much so if you are looking for a place to get some sleep, not a bad deal. You get what you pay for. There was also a nice fire pit and some chairs and tables outside to play games in the evening. We didn’t use the provided white robes in the rooms, but saw lots of people walking around in them. They had some gorgeous baskets of flowers along with an old tub filled with flowers which added some color and personality."
"The check in process was quick and efficient. The person was very helpful and provided information of things to do in the area.
The onsite restaurant and lounge had friendly staff as well and the food was delicious.
This site has a great view of the Columbia River
Easy access to I-84.
Nice base to explore the region."
"The room was a nice size and very clean. It had a tiny view of the river. Rooms have a large (deep) balcony, but only one plastic chair provided for furniture on the balcony. So really useless. No table, there were two of us in the room, but only the one chair. Basically useless spot. Also, there should be provided enough towels/ washcloths for all people in the room, minimum. We had one washcloth only. It was nice to be able to purchase a cold drink at the office for a decent price."
"Check in staff was helpful and informative. She offered to help with luggage but my partner and I thought we could manage. However, we had many bags and had just finished a 20 miles bike ride and she helped us take our bags up the flight of stairs to our room.
Lovely view. Spacious. Large mini fridge. Garden in the back. Coffee and tea on main floor. Street parking.
We’d definitely stay here again."
