"This is not the place to book if you’re looking for a typical Ibis type hotel, with streamlined bathrooms & smart decor. But if you’re looking for staying in a genuine old French country cottage, with welcoming owners and good food this place is worth a try. "There were three things that let the house down. The first problem was a totally inadequate WiFi. To get a good signal you had to be in the little room where the box was. The WiFi was weak in the bedrooms and very poor in the garden. In this day and age that is not good enough.Secondly the grass in the garden was very overgrown and simply needed cutting. Both of those could be easily fixed and you would have a great house. The rooms are lovely and the Garden really good especially for a town house.The only other down side was that the pool was not heated. We knew that when we booked but it would have made an enormous difference to the holiday had it been heated. We were there in Mid may and it stopped a lot of people using the pool, and is likely to make us look elsewhere next year."
