Unique French house with lovely host family

Staying in this house was a fun and unique experience, that helped bring our family together. The house is the cleanest I have ever seen. The inside is modern with features such as automatically closing blinds, we found the owners to be very friendly and responsive. The yard is beautiful with a nice view of the French hill sides and both the grass and flowers are well maintained with a tree line defining the boundary of the yard. One bathroom has a toilet and sink, there is another bathroom with just a shower and sink and a pool shower. There is a washing machine, with no dryer; the house has a hot water tank, so if you have a lot of people you do need to watch how much hot water you are using at one time. The gated house is also a little hard to find the first time especially if you are driving up hill on the road. These inconveniences are minor compared to the positive aspects of the house. The beauty of the house is that it brings people together. You can swim together, cook together, eat, relax, read, workout, play games all in one connected central space. You can also go outside and play Ping-Pong, Pétanque and sit and relax at the table. Our family has a lot of different interests and this house really helped bring us together. The Location puts you a short drive to a lot of quaint French villages, with nice Patisseries and other small shops, you are also relatively close to tourist locations such as Versailles, Giverny and Paris.

Jolie villa

Agréable week-end dans cette magnifique villa bien agencée et confortable, située au calme. Belle et grande terrasse. Bon accueil par les propriétaires. La piscine est juste topissime. On y reviendra.

Heerlijk vakantiehuis met mooie afwerking en fijn terras!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in juli / augustus 2019. Het is werkelijk een prachtig huis met veel ruimte, mooie afwerking en fijne voorzieningen. Het huis staat op het terrein van de eigenaar, maar er is veel privacy omdat het dieper ligt en deels ommuurd is. Aan de binnenkant is het mooi afgewerkt met oog voor detail. De keuken is mooi ruim en ideaal geplaatst. En het zwembad binnen is erg fijn en voorzien van automatisch werkende systemen zodat je er zelf nagenoeg niets aan hoeft te doen. Vanuit 1 slaapkamer is een prachtig uitzicht op het dal. Veel groen om je heen en erg veel rust. De ruimte om het pand is erg prettig, ook omdat je nagenoeg de gehele dag zon hebt op je terras. Er is ruimte voor tafeltennis (die staat gereed voor gebruik), maar je kunt bijvoorbeeld ook met de frisbee gooien of badminton spelen. Een tuin die er erg mooi bij ligt en netjes wordt onderhouden. De slaapkamers zijn eenvoudig met voldoende ruimte en hou er rekening mee dat de matrassen stevig zijn. De badkamer is prima; alle voorzieningen zoals shampoo en douchegel zijn aanwezig en hoef je zelf niet voor te zorgen. Montainville is een plek waarvan je eenvoudig naar bezienswaardigheden in de buurt kunt gaan, zoals Versailles, Plaisir en Parijs. In de omgeving zijn voorzieningen als treinstation beschikbaar. Er rijdt een trein in de buurt die af en toe ook toetert hetgeen hoorbaar is in de slaapkamer. Maar met gesloten deuren zal dit nauwelijks hoorbaar zijn (wij hadden ze open in verband met ventilatie). Eric en Agnes doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo plezierig mogelijk te maken. Wat ons betreft hebben zij er een fan bij en wellicht dat we nog een keer langs komen.

Un gîte de qualité, très bien entretenu, au calme entouré de verdure!

We had a wonderful holiday staying for a week in this beautiful villa. It’s lovely and quiet.

This is a beautiful place to stay, local villages nearby with shops and restaurants. The villa is amazing so quiet and beautiful inside. Agnes and Eric are always happy to help should you have any problems. Would definitely recommend staying there.
