"Just needed to get someone to fill up their soda machine."

"-The first "non-smoking" room we were put in, smelled of stale smoke covered by some smelly deodorizer. -There were stains on the top bed cover that went right through to the sheet. And the mattress cover looked like a double stretched over a queen mattress. -When we asked to have someone change our bedding, we were given a room 2 doors down. -In the new room, there were many electrical concerns: missing smoke detector (we noticed in the morning), spliced lamp wires and the air conditioner cover came off and the unit didn't work. -In the morning light, we found light fluid stains on the top cover. -There were no blankets on the beds; only the top cover and a sheet. -When my husband took the ice bucket from the room and asked for ice, it was only then that we were informed of a boil water advisory! This WAS NOT TOLD TO US WHEN WE CHECKED IN. In the morning they pointed to a piece of paper taped to the counter and said that's where it was posted. -The pool was "not fixed yet" and unusable. -The "included breakfast" consisted of Froot Loops and Raisin Bran cereal, oranges and dry bread. The waffle maker was on, but no mix. We were told it was because of the water advisory...so why didn't they use bottled water to make the mix??? - There was a man sleeping in his car (with a blanket on) outside our window. Basically we DID NOT get what was advertised and it WAS NOT a clean place!!"

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We love the location and it's fairly quiet. They do need new and better towels and pillows, but, overall, we had a good stay and will be back next time we're in COMO."

"The bed was so terrible that I left the next day to find a different hotel. They were unaccommodating about that and even told me that if I wanted a refund that I needed to take it up with Expedia since it was booked through them. Expedia took care of it all though. Very happy about that. But if you care at all about getting a good night of sleep, don't book here. I might have had a better night of rest on the floor."
