"Amazing overall in every aspect! The location was great, close to shops and restaurants but at the same time peaceful and quiet. The views to the sea and the castle were unhindered and magnificent! The owners welcomed us in the property and helped us with our luggage. There were plentiful welcoming fruits and sweets and a bottle of local wine!!! The property was spotlessly clean with all possible amenities provided. Everything was brand new but at the same time lots of old features were...

"Super cool apartment in the old wall city. NOTE: There is no reception and you need to contact Casa Palma for arrival to arrange meeting for keys and payment. It's like finding a apartment in an ancient maze, but amazing once you find it. We didn't know about contacting the host, we were horrified that it was just closed for the season, but once we called, it was very worth the extra trouble, best stay in Greece."

"Gregory and all the staff took a keen interest in us as people. From the minute we arrived they helped us and showed us around. Gregory’s father works there as well and he gave me some of his sun screen when we had none. They opened the veranda dining are early for plus to eat our take out food. Gregory showed us the art gallery on site and bragged about his local community. We felt like we got special attention the entire time we were here. AMAZING PEOPLE at Elea Mare! "

"Truly excellent experience. Had a wonderful time and our room was spotless with a great view of the sea. Highly recommend. Zoi's (marble) cakes are delicious and Paula (owner) is very kind, polite and helpful. Smacked in the middle of Pounta (Elafonisos Ferry) and Neapoli (nearest town) makes it a perfect location, not to mention the beach right in front of the hotel with a nearby (2 min walk) beach bar. Would love to visit again!"

"Nice simple clean hotel with a nice pool area. Close to Monemavasia (which is great !), about 90 minutes to Elafonisos (amazing). Very friendly and accomodating owners. Great restaurant (with mini market) a 2 minute walk away. Quite a few other restaurant options in area. Very hard beds. "

"Parking may be tough but great place to stay if touring the castle. Walk to the top, you won't regret the views. Explore and hit Byron's wine cave. April is a great time to visit."
