"This stay at Residences de Metifiot was very good. The service with their staff was very good as well. The room was clean and the surrounding was quiet and walkable to town. My expectations of a stand up shower was disappointing. If you’re accustomed to the “Italian” shower then this is what they have for a 2 person room. I was informed by the staff that the larger rooms have regular showers. We’re a fairly fit couple for 75 and 79 yr olds, but to have to climb into a tub, sit down and hold the shower head without any grab bars was a bit of a challenge. There’s no shower curtain or any enclosure around the tub and the hand held shower hose is about 10” from the rim of the tub. We had to sit down in the tub to shower. We managed for our 4 day stay. We just thought it was important to let folks know before they book a room for 2 that it can be challenging for showering for older folks."

"Wonderful home in a great location. Large pool and out door spaces. First floor bathroom and master bedroom were nicely done . The only recommendation would be upgrade the showers areas on the second floor. At present they have bathtubs with an attached shower head as opposed to a walk in shower. Would totally recommend the house . It’s filled with French tradition and charm"

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this house. It has everything you need and is just a 15 minute walk into St Remy. Lots of places to visit, great restaurants and wonderful walks close by with the dog. The host is very hands off which suits us. The 4 weeks there passed quickly and our dogs had free run of the enclosed outside area."
