"We had the best stay in this lovely home! Great kitchen and living area; plenty of room and well-kept. The beds were so comfy! Our host Axel was easy to communicate with and very responsive. "Novelty of staying on a houseboat is fun, and the place was nicely laid out and clean. However, there is essentially nothing in the immediate area for dining or amenities. There's a plaza of stores about 2km away. Immediate vicinity is a bit gritty and public transport is limited. It was odd to feel isolated yet look across the harbor and see a bustling city. A car or Uber is almost a must.
My houseboat had a swampy smell to it. It wasn't the marina; the air outside smelled fine. Maybe need...
