"So glad we chose the Albergo Alpenrose for our weekend ski trip. It’s next to the lift for local slopes, and close to the bus stop that has free services to the wider Monterosa ski area. Sylvia offered a warm welcome, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious. The sauna was a bonus at the end of a long day on the slopes. "The location is nice, but we were disappointed. Contrary to what we expected and what was mentioned, there was no free wifi (there was no wifi at all!), the parking was 1.3 km away and this was not a hotel but a series of appartements. The one we got was not the one we rented! And at the end, it was extremely overpriced for what we got. To be avoided!"

"It was a great place to make an overnight stopover on the way from Switzerland to Malpensa Airport. Very close to the train station and just a few minutes walk into central Stresa and Lake Maggiore. The room was clean and the breakfast ample. Nothing luxurious and no view from our room but overall good value for an overnight stay. "
