A beautiful place

We spent Spring Break here. Pros: The unit is absolutely beautiful. It's an impressive space and was very clean. The view out the back is incredible and the location is excellent. The beds are very comfortable and the showers have great water pressure. The property managers are responsive. The beautiful beach is steps away. Cons: You're on the second of 4 floors and will hear noise from upstairs. We unfortunately had a very sick kid on vacation and the noise at night (despite 2 loud noise machines) was very frustrating after 10 pm. The pool is not heated and was absolutely freezing. All of the rooms could use additional blankets. We were very cold at night despite adjusting the thermostat. We actually ended up buying more blankets. Parking is strictly limited so be sure you will only need to park two cars. The place is locked up like Fort Knox, which could be viewed as both a pro and a con, but to go do anything you're entering a code at the gate, a code at the front door, a code at the elevator and a code to your unit. And no they aren't all the same code. All of us found that to be really annoying- especially if your hands are full. Sending and receiving calls and at times texts was an issue for most of us- you will have to go outside for calls. I'm trying to leave a really honest review but I do want to be clear that this is a really lovely place.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay! It was our first time at Gulfview, we usually stay at a condo unit up the street. This is now our favorite spot. The location is great, with beach access only steps away. Great coffee shops and eateries all over within minutes. The condo is spacious and well kept. There was enough room for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 young boys.) Linens and towels were fresh, and everything was clean and ready upon our arrival. Checking in and out was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Great location

The condo was a nice surprise. It was a corner unit overlooking the pool. Everything was clean & well kept. The kitchen was nicely stocked. It was a very short, easy walk to the beach. The only issues we ran into was there wasn’t enough sheets, blankets, & pillow cases for the fold out couch. The 1 extra sheet & pillow case I found (in a clothes basket) was very dirty & stained. Also, The thermostat wouldn’t stay set on 70. Often times we would return to the room & it wld be back to 74/76, which is WAY to hot for the beach!

Great location, great vacation

I have been to Destin numerous times and have stayed in many different houses and condos, but this was one of my favorites. The location is perfect- right across the road from the beach and you can even see the ocean from the condo. It was within walking distance to some of our favorite restaurants. The two pools on the property were very handy and never too crowded when we were there. We also enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Overall, this condo was perfect for my wife and me. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Nice and clean condo near the beach

Our stay was very nice. We went on vacation to Destin with family including one 8 years and one 3 years old kid. It is very near to beach, just have to cross a road and there is private gate to the beach. Check-in/ check-out process was a breeze and for anything required, the team was readily available through text and were very responsive. There were chairs and umbrella available to take it to the beach. It’s on 3rd floor and there is no elevator, and they have mentioned this in description. kitchen was fully equipped with all utensils, blender available. Condo is of decent size with one double bed, bunk beds and one sofa bed. Overall it was very nice stay and would recommend to everyone except person unable to climb stairs.

Great stay!

We only had a few days off for spring break and this was the perfect little getaway! Nice, clean, tasteful and a cute little balcony. Loved the hot tub and closeness of the beach. Would definitely recommend.

Great space

Perfect for a place to spend time between beaching, eating, and shopping. My only fear was the "quiet time" but no one ever said anything so I think we weren't as loud as we thought! Thanks so much for a great place to stay!

Great little Beach Spot

Was just as expected. Small but very nice Condo....Ocean view, so very close to the beach. Short walk to Kenny D's, Pompano's or Capt Dave's....so you can drink and not drive. Perfect little spot.

Family vacation

Vacation for family of five. Condo met all of our needs. Nice to be close to the beach. Balcony overlooking the pool was handy. Beds were comfy. WiFi was not good.

Beautiful condo!

This condo was amazing! We were concerned it may be too small before we arrived but were pleasantly surprised when we did. The condo was very spacious and extremely clean! We loved the decor and the area it was in. It was just steps from a private beach and close to many restaurants and stores. The pool area was clean and close to our condo as the laundry area was also. I loved that this condo was on the end as it had 2 balconies and also had a gate to gain access to it. The bed was comfortable and we had some of the best nights sleep we've had in awhile. The bunks were wide enough that actually 2 people could sleep in 1 bunk if need be. We come to the Destin area regularly and would gladly stay in this condo again!

Terrible experience, never again

Arrived to find that family with medical issue had difficulty climbing stairs, no other way to 3rd floor. Maybe a 14" square of ocean view. Stated gated access to beach, failed to mention this is across busy roadway. Had to move, asked for partial refund, said if they could rent it back out. Never heard another word. Social media is powerful, and i think i need to let everyone know how bad gulfview was

The condo was beautiful. Gorgeous views from the living room windows and balcony.

My family had a great time even though it rained the whole time we were here. The condo was nice and clean and spacious enough for us to lay around and relax while we hid from the rain. Unfortunately we didn’t get to go on the beach bc of the rain, but we did get to see the huge waves from our condo window and balcony.

Loved it!

Steps from the private beach access, beach and pool view from the balcony, and comfortable! Laundry is close to the unit. Third story but no issue for us! Great location. Kids (10 & 8) enjoyed the bunk beds. Can’t wait to go back!
