It is essentially an upscale backpacker hostel. The rooms have inexpensive furniture and there are a ton of small hassles you'll have to deal with. They put a door in front of the refrigerator unit. When you open the door, its hinges prevent the refrigerator from opening and closing. The sleeper sofa wouldn't close completely. "Hotel Palacio del Valderrabanos proved to be the best choice for our place of stay in Avila for a two day visit. The room is spacious, clean, upgraded while maintaining a sense of medieval style and classic look from the lobby to the hallway and gallery. The front desk staff is one of the best staff my family has ever met.
The hotel itself is next to the Basilica, tourist attractions, restaurants , various stores and outlets.
We might go back again to Avila and book with the same hotel. Thank...

"Great quality-price! The hotel is located in downtown Avila in a historical building. It does not have elevator. Breakfast is included, nice croissant and fresh toast with good coffee. Wifi works really well in rooms and public places."
