Nice pool

We stayed here one night. The room itself wasn't bad but someone had previously been smoking in the bathroom as it stunk of stale cigarette smoke, and I really should have asked for another room. We found the Wifi was non-existent on the standard network until we got the owner to hook us up on the 2.4ghz network in the hotel. He put the password in our devices himself....Then the Wifi was good. We had a swim in the pool which was really nice. There was aircon in the room but it didn’t seem to work very well. There was also a fan in the room which I guess was to make up for the poor aircon. It was a hot night so we had to have a window open all night.

The hotel was fine in itself, but needed modernising, a lick of paint and the air con needed repairing. Would a hotel in a cold climate not have the heating working during the winter months?

Nous somles encore revenus

Ca fait plus de 10 ans que nous nous arrêtons environs 1 fois par an (parfois il s'ecoule 2 ans) à Millau et depuis que nous avons découvert cet hotel nous decidons de revenir à chaque occasion. Pourtant nous avons vu au moins 3 proprietaires differents, mais nous apprecions toujours. Donc cette année nous avons aimé les chambres calmes (nous donnions sur les terrains de sport), l'accueil bien que les hôtes soient un peu réservés par rapport au standard de l'exhuberance méridionale, le café du petit dejeuner (attention : il reveillerait un cheval mort, donc demandez un café allongé si vous craignez le café fort). Nous avons juste regretté de ne pas avoir amené un maillot de bain pour tester la piscine en cette fin Avril ! Il faut savoir être audacieux :) Et la region est magnifique.

Bon accueil. Le matin du 1er mai, au petit dejeuner, la proprietaire a offert un bouquet de muguet à toutes les dames. Un petit geste d'attention agréable. Nous revenons tous les 1 à 2 ans dans la région pour un des longs weekends de printemps et nous avons toujours été enchanté avec les proprietaires successifs depuis une vingtaine d'années. Et je ne dois pas être le seul : un groupe de copains motards avaient l air d'être familiers de la maison. Pas d'inquiétude à avoir , il s'agissait de ces motards tranquilles qui roulent pour se promener et qui ne roulent pas des mécaniques. Discrets en plus, nous n'avons entendu aucun bruit, ni d'eux ni de la route. Excellente situation pour visiter les Causses.
