Excellent stay

I can't say enough about this place. It was our fourth time coming here and it keeps getting better. It is a quiet location with plenty to do within a reasonable driving distance. The view from the deck is amazing. The home is everything you need. Highly recommend.

Girls' Weekend

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage! Plenty roomy for 4 adults, comfy beds, nice finishes and amenities, and beautiful view. Loved the hot tub and the easy access to the beach. Can't wait til we can come back!

A peaceful gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at Glenmore Cottage. The house was spacious and very tastefully decorated. The location was stunning. We enjoyed beach combing and relaxing on the large deck. Already booked a return trip for next year.

Another great vacation at Glenmor Cottage

This was our family's second trip to DE staying at Glenmor and we had another great time. The house is always clean and has everything you need. We loved bringing the dogs on the beach, using the Kayaks and enjoying the deck / hot tub. We also found some new places to eat. Will definitely go back again in the future and highly recommend for families.

Serene stay

From start to finish this mini get-away was perfect. The home was decorated so beautifully for the holidays and the extra lights made it easier to see at night. Every imaginable accessory was there and the owner was quick to respond to questions. I loved my time here.

Friends retreat

Unfortunately I fell ill after a trip and was unable to stay for our Memorial Day weekend that we had been waiting over a year to enjoy. Our friends were able to go without us and enjoy the property, so not a total wash. This would have been our second stay at a lovely and comfortable vacation home.

Horseshoe Crab Heaven

My husband & myself & our 2 dogs had a wonderful time on Slaughter beach. The house was just what the listing described. We had unusually warm weather temps. in the upper 60's & 70's. It was fantastic!!! Sunny & so peaceful. We will be back again. The Metcalf's

Amazing coach cottage

We had an amazing time at Glenmore cottage. It was very clean, the house was nicely renovated, it had lots of amenities, and looked just like the pictures. You really just need to bring your clothes and toiletries! The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed riding the tandem bike and relaxing in the hot tub. Walks on the beach were fun and full of things to find. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. Glenn was a great host and was very responsive. On the drive home I reserved the house for 2025. Looking forward to staying again.

Very Nice

2nd time here, love it. Property has everything, you truly need & more. I can leave my crockpot at home. For March time, didnt see anyone on the beach. Deck out back is fantastic, if its too windy, balcony out front is another option. I have stayed other places, but will also like this to be my 1st option. Thanks Glenn! I was impressed , when i reached out you picked up on 2nd ring. Great property!

Family vacation

We loved our stay! Unfortunately it rained most of the time but we were able to still have a great time! My son really enjoyed helping out some of the horseshoe crabs! My husband and I really enjoyed sea shell hunting! The house was very clean and beautiful! The only thing I wish there was, was a book with information about the house like WIFI, how to work the tv to access channels that are available to watch, and information about what was available to use in the garage. My cell phone company was garbage out there so I couldn’t get any information sent online about the house pulled up. Thankfully I was able to stand in the perfect spot to send a message to the owner who was very responsive and helpful!

Best beach front home

Clean, perfectly stocked with an incredible attention to detail everywhere. The jacuzzi and the fire pit were the highlights for us. Even though our weather was awful it made those even more attractive to use. Only consistently awful detraction was I needed to work remotely for one day when I was there and both the cell phone and xfinity digital speeds (upload and download) were the worst I have ever seen at such a place. It was almost impossible to hold webex calls and remote control virtual PCs. Very long day… if you need to fully unplug on the beach this is the place for you however. I tested this on multiple devices I brought just to be sure. Needs improvement.

Beautiful home on peaceful beach

First - the home is very well equipped with anything you could possibly need and more. Two crock pots, a Belgian waffle maker and dishes for all. Generous supply of detergent, toilet paper, foil, etc. Tons of extra pillows and blankets. I could go on and on. I brought binoculars - no need there are two already there! The home is nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable and IMMACULATE! . Second - the location. It's a very quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. There are no local gas stations/convenience stores so you have to travel 20 minutes to Milford for breakfast, groceries, etc. The beach is long for walking and sandy at the top. At low tide it turns rocky and a bit muddy. If you bring your muckers you can venture out to look for sea glass. The horseshoe crabs were washed up alot and we tried to save as many as possbile. Without a breeze the flies bite-bring bug spray. We enjoyed the Dupont Nature Center where we learned all about the history of Delaware Bay and the horseshoe crab. We took day trips to Rehoboth Beach and boardwalk; Jungle Jim's Waterpark and Cape Henlopen State Park. The park has a beautiful beach, food, bike paths and history galore! The grandkids 12-13 loved the waves at these beaches. In summary - we had a great time. I loved waking up to see the sunrise over the water each morning.
