The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The bathroom really needs an upgrade, but everything worked fine. Would love to see recycling bin and larger waste basket in the rooms. The door would need to have more insulation, the gaps was large enough we could see in the corridors and an anti-theft hook too. But overall the stay was fine and we were satisfied. FYI, it is advertised to have breakfast, but they don't serve it anymore. Description needs an update.

The hotel itself is in terrible condition, the room was DIRTY, the carpet was not event swept, outlets did not work (so no TV, hairdryer) there was no breakfast as advertised etc.

My stay at super 8 was very pleasant. Staff was chill and my room was amazing! Everything was clean, there were no broken items, the TV had great entertainment and it was a peaceful night. I definitely recommend you to reserve a spot here.

"Complimentary breakfast" was a foil-sealed juice cup and toddler-sized bag of goldfish crackers. Dog in room close to front desk barked all night and staff did nothing about it.

Would not waste your money here
The only reason i gave this anything but one stars is because the staff were very helpful and kind. Other than that, i have nothing nice to review. I will never stay here again. There were stains on EVERYTHING; towels, sheets, carpet, chairs. It felt like i was sleeping on straight up rusty metal springs, heard arguing all over the place, and the "breakfast" was just a pre-packaged danish thing with a small juice. Not worth any of the money we spent.

Woke up next day itching and covered with marks all over my body! Pest control found bed bugs. If you have reservations here, make sure to ask for the pest report!

Room wasn't very clean, shower didn't turn on correctly, and offered a bag breakfast. Staff did help out with the shower problem by letting us use another rooms shower.

I got there about 4 hours after checkin in time (3:00). I walked in my room and the bed looked as if someone had just gotten out of bed. They checked me into a room that smelled like wet dog. I was so tired and didn’t want to deal with waiting for them to find and get a room together so I just stayed.

My worst Super 8 Experience EVER!!!!
The night we got there, there was a bad odor of marajuana throughout the hotel. We arrived on a Saturday and there was a clip from a joint on the floor out whole time there which was 4 nights. The key cards didnt work to get into the building several times. The housekeeping didnt replenish towels or garbage bags, we had to ask. We had puppies and used a tarp on the floor for the cage to sit on so there wouldnt be an odor. We cleaned the room and used fresh deodorizer for the room. When we left the room it smelled fresh and clean. The manager said it smelled horrendous and we couldnt het out $100 deposit back. I am a neat and clean individual and if it smelled horrendous i wouldnt ha e been able to stay in that room like that. I recommend not renting from them. I read the reviews too late and noticed they dont like giving deposits back. I always use super 8 in newburgh ny when i come with pets but they had nothing available. I will not ever use middletown super 8. Obviously they needed $100 more than i did and God will give that $100 back to me brcause the devil is a lie!!! The hotel is beat up and nasty and the manager is rude. Oh and i forgot to mention i had to sleep at the foot of the bed becauae the mattress was sunk in at the head of the bed, which i informed the manager and wasnt even offered a new room, she shrugged it off like it wasnt an issue.

Convenient, Don’t expect breakfast.
Second time we have stayed here, we were happier reserving a larger room. We wonder why both times we have stayed here, a window has been left open. The room was very cold both times, we needed extra blankets. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. We were expecting coffee and breakfast as advertised in the morning, there was nothing out at 7:15 when we left. As far as Super 8’s go this one is a little better than others we have stayed in. There were children playing in the hall until 11:00, which wasn’t terrible knowing how small the rooms can be, but people should be more considerate about noise. This hotel is very convenient and close to things we do in Middletown and we are glad to have a place to sleep.
