"We truly enjoyed many aspects of this property. It was exceptionally neat and clean, the room sizes were generous, the shower was wonderful, the kitchen was fabulous, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The host’s online communication was excellent.One small disappointment was that when we couldn’t locate a wine opener or corkscrew, we left a voicemail but did not receive a return call.Although the living room had a comfortable chair and couch, there were no tables beside or in front of either, so food plates and beverages had to be placed on the floor.A more important note for guests with mobility or eyesight concerns: the parking area is not lit, and walking from the car to the entrance can be precarious without a flashlight. Upon entering, guests must climb about a dozen fairly steep stairs to reach the rental, which could be difficult for anyone carrying luggage or with limited mobility.The walk to the village is short, but proper footwear is recommended, as the roadway includes uneven areas and uphill sections that may be challenging for some.Overall, there were many wonderful features, but future guests should be aware of the accessibility, lighting issues, and uphill walking."

"We spent a week at the White Birch Woodstock and it was even better than described. The house was well equipped and immaculate. The best part was the location, easy walking distance to downtown Woodstock and even with that it was very peaceful and quiet.The owner was terrific and made himself available to answer questions. He also reached out to check on us mid stay to be sure everything was going well.We loved every minute of being here and would not hesitate to stay again!"
