I’m an Elite guest by Marriot and I was told due to my reservations happening via Expedia they couldn’t allow me the benefit of checking out late. The late check out is at noon. I was given a 12:30p check out which I found completely absurd. Even after I stated of my status I did not obtain the greeting of being welcomed back. This property use to be fabulous to stay at while on business and leisure. This will definitely be my last time as there was hair found on the floor of what’s suppose to have been a cleaned room. Old dated sunken sofa with stains on it. The staff was okay but I’ve witnessed far better that’s for sure.

The hotel was very nice and fancy. Really enjoyed it and my family feels the same. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had many nice options and staff were friendly. The only problem was I booked Element hotel because it showed EV Charging stations but at the hotel out of two, only one charging station is working. I wasn’t able to charge my car as every time one car would always be in place for charging. I had to go outside for charging and it caused me to pay extra. I am disappointed with the service.

When we got to Element hotel and did our initial check-in, the room assigned had only one bed and the reservation was for two. At front desk, Gadiel helped us and explained that the system had done an "upgrade" to a suite, which I was never informed of. Unfortunately, it was 4 of us, so that wasn't going to work. Very diligently, he verified at the Aloft hotel ( property is side by side to Element and walking distance) and not only got us a two bed room within minutes, but also went with us and did the check in process and took us to our room to verify that everything was fine. Since the hotels are part of the same chain, He's allowed to do that. Gadiel's excellent customer service is what made the difference in our stay. The first person that checked us in, could've verified the room type seeing that it was 4 of us and avoided the delay and back and forth. But once again, great customer service can turn around a guest's experience for the better!

As always the staff in the breakfast area are the best, with a big smile and very caring, i would suggest putting a Tip jar for them. The staff at the check in counter in the mornings where very nice and always greeted us. The evening staff could use a bit more training in greeting and even responding to a greeting, specifically a gentleman with very short hair and beard, at one point we thought he was in a bad humor or something. This Hotel is doing great in everything else, we are very pleased and will continue to visit every time we go to Miami for business.

The property was fine. It's in a decent neighborhood lots to do around Doral. Our issue is that the water in the shower never got hot. It was luke warm at best -- but not even. I understand low flow faucets, but that should not mean I have to shower in tempid water. I was a one night stay, had it been longer I would have had to consider changing hotels.

I woke up to cockroach which I did draw to the attention of the front desk. I even have a picture of it as prove which I showed and was told I would be contacted by a manager. To date I have called back the hotel to speak with one, left a message and wasn’t called back. I intentional delayed writing a review to see what follow up will be done, ABSOLUTE FAILURE!

Excellent property, clean, modern and very comfortable. Friendly staff eager to help customers. Excellent breakfast. Just point out that the hotel needs more facilities to charge electric cars. We were never able to load our car in 10 days. Only 1 of 2 charging stations worked and it was always busy.

This is a really nice hotel. We had no problem with the staff, surroundings, room, or any part of our stay. While small, the breakfast was quite good, it could go a little later, but we enjoyed it.

Great breakfast! Wonderful kitchen and beds! My dad's accessible room was very spacious. Our double room was small but great kitchen , and bathroom. Great gym! Wonderful staff. I will recommend it and come back. Very convenient location. You won't regretted.

The property was beautiful and the restaurant was amazing. However i would recommend you stay at Aloft next door. The rooms all smelled strongly of urine. I asked yo have my room changed 3 times because of the smell and each room change was worse than the last. I am not sure if it was actual urine or wierd cleaning products but it was absolutely terrible. The staff was also unattentive and incredibly rude.i waited at the desk to be served for atleast 15 minutes before another guest had to yell into the office and have someone come out to serve me. I absolutely would not come here again.
