Some of the nearby markets are small, just a little fruit, veg and some local cheese, but Jaujac has a larger one and also a small convenience store, Vival."

"A really lovely location with lots of potential but not well looked after and somewhat shabby. We were told the washing machine did not work and the kitchen smelled of gas - even when the tank was turned off. Several small issues and the host was fairly responsive, but we had a great deal of difficulty finding the property when we arrived (as there was minimal information provided) and had to disrupt several neighbours in order to find it. "This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."

"Perfect stop over - 20 mins from autoroute, with plenty of supermarkets for food and fuel. Pool area was a lovely addition if you have time to use it. "

"Stayed 3 nights. Staff were excellent. Buffet breakfast was good value and had lots of variety. The evening meals were high quality. The room was spacious and had everything we needed (apart from a kettle). We are travelling by train so we found it very convenient for the bus station. Be aware that there is no food Sunday evening, but McDonald's is across the road. Will certainly stay in Ibis again."

"Friendly welcome from all staff. Room is reasonable size and good size bathroom. Fan available as no air-conditioning. Good parking and picnic tables available outside. It is isolated but there is a lovely restaurant on same sight. Slightly higher prices than average very good food. Hotel provides excellent breakfast with 2 price options available which we thought was a great idea. "
