"The host was chill, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We paid for the shuttle service which was very convenient. The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. The spa and natural pools in the river where perfectly refreshing. There is no bug net, but the fan did the trick and there weren't many biting bugs around anyway. I'd highly recommend the dinner! The portions are generous!"

"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...

He was a kind host, graciously welcoming us when we arrived far too late in the evening and waking before 5am to see us off for our early morning departure. "Resort was beautiful! Rooms were clean staff was friendly and helpful . Restaurant upstairs by the pool was delicious! The ONLY problem was the road to get up to the resort itself . A taxis worst nightmare . I got charged extra for every taxi I took JUST because of the road . They all informed me that all taxis forbid the road that’s how bad it is . Just a heads up if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have booked because it was stressful . Other than that great stay !"

"The hotel is lovely. The rooms are nice, but the pool, the garden the grounds are just stunning. Its location on the water overlooks the sunset which is magnificent every night. The staff is a mixed bag. They want to be very helpful, but just seems like there is a lack of knowledge, follow through, etc. at the front desk which can be frustrating. Everyone else is lovely. The bellmen, the grounds staff etc. just want to make your stay great. The gardener spent 30 minutes with us explaining his crops. The grounds staff cut us a coconut and taught us about how to eat it. Nobody feels like they are doing anything for a tip, although I’m sure they appreciate it. Just feels like they are kind and helpful. The food is meh. Breakfast buffet is nice with delicious fresh fruit and lovely service. The dinner restaurant isn’t the best. "

"Had a good 5 day stay. Was greeted on arrival by the person caring for the house. He showed me where everything was located and all the instructions i needed to know. The house was clean and everything needed as far as appliances, gadgets, supplies was provided. The A/C works great. There’s no cable on the tv so if you need tv bring a Roku/firestick etc. Theres a very secure privacy gate which made me feel more comfortable and secure. The house is up a very steep hill so transportation is a plus but walking is doable also. To get to the main road and to the beach, It took me about 5-10min easy walk down and about 15-20min walk up. The walk up will test how in shape you are Would stay here again if needed. "
