"The hotel itself was a lovely, older former maternity hospital that has been extensively renovated. The room was a bit smaller than we anticipated however everything we needed was provided. The staff was excellent and readily available if we needed them. The patio doors led out to a spectacular view."

"Stayed one night at Tuakau Hotel. Found blood spots on our sleepwear and later developed bites consistent with bedbugs. We raised it with the hotel, but they did not engage meaningfully or offer a proper resolution. Very disappointing hygiene and customer service. "

Take some care with the last few Apple map directions in as it seems to involve a shortcut through a gas station, then a turn on to a small gravel drive."
