「It was SO hot when we were in the Netherlands, so our large, cool room with a nice big bathroom was just what we needed after driving up from Amsterdam! The staff were lovely and very helpful. It was also great to be able to go downstairs and have such a delicious dinner. The breakfast was pretty good also. It's a good location if you want a bigger hotel experience while exploring this part of the country. The parking building is slightly confusing, so make sure you get good instructions for...

「We had an enjoyable two night stay. Arriving quite late on the first night after a drive from Amsterdam, the hospitality, and the rooms were a welcome relief. The room was clean, large, and comfortable. Everything we needed. (Except the UK power adapter, which I had forgotten to bring!) The introduction and friendliness of our host immediately put us at ease. We learned a lot from him, and found it a very comfortable two way discussion, both in English and Dutch.」

「Really fun little hotel, with super helpful staff, who took care of our every need. The larger rooms on the first floor are really great, with a bathtub in the room and nice decor. We did have a night in a second floor room also- just a bit small for us- we’ve been traveling for a while so have more stuff than someone on a weekend away- though still lovely decor and nice and quiet. We used this hotel as a base to explore the area of Friesland and were really happy with the choice.」
