The Carriage House Inn’s, The Cottage, located on the National Historic Registered Shaver House estate.
The Cottage is the original 1898 carriage house of the historic Shaver home.
Guests enjoy their own private Cottage on the historic acre estate.
Amenities include: Private parking, access to the Shaver House gardens, with outside dining and grilling areas, hammock, stone cobbled fire pit (marshmallow roast and bon-fire set-up available upon request).

One bedroom, one bathroom 1000 sq. ft. cottage with living room, dining room and fully-equipped kitchen. Upstairs Bedroom with a King Size bed and picturesque window overlooking Rich Mountain. Eat-in Kitchenette equipped with stove, range, microwave, fridge/freezer, plates, glasses and cutlery. Living Room includes full-size couch, oversized chair, TV/DVD, writing desk and rocking chair. For extended stays, weekly housekeeping will be provided. All guests enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi.

Walking distance from Janssen Park and Historic Downtown Mena:

Enjoyed the Carrage House

The carrage house was very quite and private. The location for walking around town is very convenient. Wish we could have stayed long enough to meet the chickens. Would stay again.

Perfect

As soon as we walked in the door, the soothing sound of classical music hit our ears. The entire place felt warm and welcoming. The cottage had a cozy yet sophisticated feel. It warmed my heart when I found the two homemade chocolate chip cookies on the counter for us when we arrived. Beautiful, clean, and comfortable stay. One of the best places booked for an overnight getaway.

This place is so cute. It’s very clean and the hostess always bakes cookies and puts them in the kitchen for us. It’s a beautiful property as well & close to downtown. We always stay here when passing through town!

Loved this property! Plus...you get the use of the beautiful grounds....we sat under the white lights at night in the midst of the pretty landscaping....rock paths, etc. A lovely place to stay! Very clean, a comfy bed, nice towels and linens....overall a great experience!

We have stayed here 3 times and each time Ashley and her husband are always gracious and kind. I would always recommend staying here to anyone. Her chocolate chip cookies are delicious.
