"Pros: The pool was a highlight for our family; our kids (13 and 9) had a great time, especially on the slide, which was their favourite part. It did get busy, but that was expected. We loved that our room had a balcony overlooking the pool, and the warm, humid air helped our swimsuits dry quickly. The bathroom had both a tub and separate a shower with a seat, which my son thought was great. We stayed in a Junior Queen suite, and overall, the room met our needs. Cons: On our first night, the pool closed early due to an issue, which was very disappointing as we had planned a late night swim all day. That same evening, a fire alarm resulted in an evacuation. My husband and daughter were in the pool area and were directed to an upper outdoor deck where they couldn’t exit. It was cold, and it raised concerns about what would have happened in a real emergency. The lifeguards were friendly, but they didn’t appear to actively monitor swimmers consistently. While there are signs stating the pool is unsupervised (and we always supervise our children), it felt odd given that lifeguards were present. Lastly, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, far beyond what we expected. None of us slept well while trying to get the kids settled."

"We arrived late on a very cold windy night and the young man at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. When I asked if there were tea bags in the room he said there were but that he could make me a cup as well. I so appreciated his overall thoughtfulness that one doesn’t see much any more, and of course the great cup of tea!"

"Building is massive but once adjusted it was great. Amazing rooms, staff was amazing at front desk, only downside was that the pool was freezing. "

"Room had multiple visible red blood stains on the bedding, floor, and bathroom wall/outlet when we checked in late at night. Sheets smelled laundered but were clearly stained. I documented everything with photos and reported it to the manager in the morning. He dismissed it and refused a refund. Expedia support contacted the property but was also refused. This is a sanitation issue, not a preference issue. I would not stay here again."

"House was beautiful, everything was new and great for kids, kids play room and fans room was fun for adults too. Hot tube was nice and hot. Only negative was the locked box was hard to get into. Key pad would be better and easier. "
