I liked the fact that they had an area where you can sit and relax in comfortable chairs and have a drink. Location was good for the theatre. Just a short walk to restaurants etc.

Location was convenient to shopping and food in the CBD. Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I will probably use the Victoria Hotel for my next stay.

This hotel is in a great spot; it’s easy walking distance to train and bus stations, entertainment, shopping, and lots of eating options. Street below was noisy and this could be easily heard from indoors, but otherwise no complaints about the location. The Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect in my room (top floor, end of hall) and staff were quick to find me a new room when I notified them.

The blinds did not go all the way down so light came into the room at night. I also got bitten alive by, I’m guessing mosquitoes, on my legs at night even though no windows were ever open.

We visited a month ago and we loved it so we went again yesterday with my son who is on a visit. Great location to access many places and shops of interest. We also love using the gym while there :-). Great staff, always polite, nice and kind. We also like the food and have breakfast and dinner there too. Price is decent for the great package you get back. Won't be our last visit for sure. Thanks to the lovely staff!

It's been some years since my last stay at the Victoria Hotel and I was still very pleased with the quality you get at a reasonable price. Definitely one of my favourite places to stay during the Comedy Festival due to its close proximity to all the venues.

Nice and quiet, bed was nice and firm but pillows were too soft for my liking. Our floor also had half of the rooms down some steps and through a door which wasn’t great for accessibility. 4/5
