Gorgeous view, lovely room, and serene hot springs. Staff was extremely friendly and pointed out which routes to the attractions were the easiest, which were under maintenance, and how to get to places by bus or by foot. Front desk also kindly helped me search for a lost item, scouring even the bus from Taichung in the process. Bus from Taichung was easy to book, comfortable, and clean. Buffet was delicious. One thing to mention: If you want to eat anywhere but the buffet or the lobby, make sure to book in advance!

This is a 4-star hotel, according to Google Map. But the room is very small. The coffee packet is instant 3-in-1 (coffee, creamer & sugar, which I as a prediabetic cannot drink (or for people who prefer black coffee). The soundproof is not good, and we could hear noise through the wall. Many things at the breakfast buffet is lukewarm or cold. My friend took a meat bun and found the meat inside cold. On the plus side, there's an anti-slippery mat in the shower. This is my second time staying at the hotel. I most likely would try another hotel in Taizhong next time.
