So Peaceful!
"We positioned ourselves in Cambridge Springs PA so that we could travel up to 6 hours northeast to 6 hours southwest to catch the 2024 Eclipse. We were fortunate that we needed to only travel about 2 hours west to Ohio to catch the best weather. We would have had a wonderful view from the Cambridge Springs location, but were unsure about the weather. The cottage was homey and well stocked with everything we needed. We didn’t take advantage of the game room in the basement, preferring to cozy up with a good book or a movie, but it looked like great fun. The lake views from the deck and the sunsets were gorgeous! We were mesmerized by the beavers that crossed the lake back and forth all day long. There was plenty of green space for the dogs and we loved the quiet neighborhood. The local farmers market and chocolate shop are a must-see for delicious treats! Great stay and the hosts, Amy and Robin, responded immediately when we had a minor issue with the shower. We would definitely book again if we were looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat."
