"I have been here 10 years before, but only for a one-night-stay, cause I was on a trip to another city. Really impressive by the environment and design of the room, especially the atmosphere in the lodge. This time, I came with my partner, everything was as perfect as before, the front desk was helpful all the time, nice and friendly, explained everything to you clearly. I will come back in the future, and definitely recommend to people who want to have a cozy and relax vocation in Carmel."

"We rented this property for our family to stay in for our youngest daughter's wedding in Carmel Valley. It was PERFECT! It was spacious enough for us and three of our kids and their families. The bedrooms were comfortable and accommodated everyone. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and we were all able to fit around the dining room table to enjoy meals together. The older kids loved the game nook and if they weren't in the pool they were in the nook playing the games provided by the host. Having the cottage for our son and his family who have 2 small children worked out so well for them to escape all the noise and put the little ones to bed without trying to keep everyone else quiet. I can't say enough about the host! Excellent communication, extremely responsive and accommodating and very pleasant to work with. We had one minor issue and they addressed it immediately. The house is beautiful, centrally located in Carmel Vally, and the host is one of the best. I highly recommend this property."

"Great stay, friendly staff and a fantastic complimentary breakfast! The place was old school and quaint, nothing modernized. We stayed for a few days during a family wedding weekend. The staff is everything. Very accommodating and friendly. The chef making the complimentary breakfast was fantastic - best avocado toast I've had! Hot eggs/quiche/frittatas on the weekends. The accommodations were rustic with some rooms being more updated than others. Regardless, the room was extremely clean along with the rest of the property. The pool was wonderful. It gets much hotter in the valley than in the town of Carmel, 17 mile drive, Monterrey so layer up."
