This is my second time here with my wife.And we enjoy it tremendously good for the price, clean rooms and simple. Just update the coffee makers in the rooms and it would be extra wonderful.

Really was the perfect stay. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was nice; coffee could be better, but that’s about the only con. Stayed the week and was central to all the parks and nature preserves. Easy location and well cared for property.

Good bargain

Great customer service

The gentleman in the front desk is very kind and gave us a room with a jacuzzi even tough it was not what we reserved but because they had already assigned all 1 king bed rooms they put us in a one king jacuzzi room for no extra charge since we have been staying at this hotel for about 7 years now. Now that is great customer service

It served it’s purpose, but when I opened the door to the room it smelled like a mildewed wet towel, had to put the A/C on full blast and leave the door open for room to air out, TV channel selection was crappy, other than that , took a shower , slept for a while then left…,

Good.

Not many options for breakfast. Cleanliness was 6 out of 10. Bed covers gave me an instant rash on my legs. Outdated bath towels were harsh on the skin and pillows felt lumpy and old. Otherwise quiet and restful night.

Upon checking in they require an additional $50 on top of everything that was already charged. When arriving to the room it was noticed the tv was on already but no remote in sight to watch tv. Further looking around there was only 2 towels for a family of 5. Also the bed sheets had stains and the blankets or comforter had holes and stains over it all

"Winter Non Texans" will ruin your weekend vaca.

Weslaco Inn is a great property. Clean, centrally located, super friendly staff. Something very negative that was present that ive never noticed before at Weslaco Inn was the incredibly rude, entitled, poeple called the "Winter Texans." They're not from Texas according to the license plates on their vehicles. My wife and i were made to feel as if we were trespassing, invading, their space. We paid to be there just as they had. I understand the positive economic impact these people have on the area and I applause it, but keep your sneers and rude comments to yourself. Do that when you go back to Michigan.
